Do I need my exact birth time for a birth chart?

Yes — your exact birth time is crucial. It determines your rising sign (which changes every 2 hours) and all 12 house placements. Without it, you get sun/moon/planet signs but miss half the chart. Your birth time is on your birth certificate. If unavailable, a solar chart (noon) gives partial information.

What is the difference between my Sun sign and my full birth chart?

Your Sun sign is just one of 40+ data points in your full chart. It represents your core identity — but your Moon sign shapes your emotions, your rising sign shapes your outer persona, Mercury shapes how you communicate, Venus shapes how you love, and so on. Two people with the same Sun sign can be completely different people based on the rest of their chart.

What is a stellium in astrology?

A stellium is when three or more planets cluster in the same sign or house. It concentrates enormous energy in that area. A Scorpio stellium creates intense, transformative, all-or-nothing energy. A 10th house stellium makes career and public life a dominant life theme. Stelliums are often found in people with a powerful, recognizable presence.

What does it mean if a house is empty?

An empty house simply means no planets were there when you were born — it doesn't mean that area of life is unimportant or absent. The ruler of that house (the planet that rules its cusp sign) still governs it. Most people have several empty houses; it's normal. The houses with multiple planets are where your life's most complex themes play out.

How is a birth chart different from a horoscope?
